Due to the reactive glaze used on these mugs they have a truly unique and rustic appearance, with wonderful crackled glaze interior. This finish means that no two mugs will be exactly the same. The off-white exterior has undertones of the natural clay.
This collection has been created by talented artisans in China. The country has a rich heritage of arts and crafts, but sadly it is now more renowned for mass production and many of its traditional skills have been forgotten or overlooked. These mugs have been produced by working with suppliers in China to protect these skills. Available in either this tall version or a
shorter mug for those who prefer a smaller beverage.
