Hogla Egg Basket - Large or Small

Another great basket. Hand woven by a fair trade artisan cooperative in Bangladesh, where the natural hogla grass grows in mangrove waters and is dried in the sun before being twisted and woven into these beautiful and functional items. We've called these "egg baskets" because of their low, rounded shape but they are great for all kinds of "stuff" that would otherwise be lying around the house (toys, blankets, logs, toilet rolls, recycling, towels, kindling, knitting....). Two sizes available.

Large (really big and roomy!)  Height 26m (excluding handles), Diameter 58cm

Small (neat and compact - great for counter-top use to store eggs, veg, etc)  Height 18cm (excluding handles), Diameter 30cm
